It is an excellent simulator of the Second World War, during which we can play the role of a state that is actively involved in the conflict and a state that is watched from the side. Thanks to this, we can create an alternative version of the story, and everything will depend on our skills. The game has a number of interesting solutions, such as drawing the front lines and determining the directions of attack, or the variable day and night cycle as well as the seasons of the year. There are many factors in the game that an experienced commander must take into account in order to win.
Hearts of Iron IV: Battle for the Bosporus DLC includes many new features. These are primarily various goals for countries located near the Bosphorus - Bulgaria, Greece, and Turkey. As Bulgaria, we can either join the Germans historically during the Second World War or take a completely different path, laying the foundations for the building of a free, independent state.
Internally torn Greeks can build a strong relationship with the Allies or, on the contrary, turn to the fascists. Similar challenges await us also in Turkey, which has the ambitions of local power and can use the global conflict to raise the importance of its country in the international arena. It all depends on us and what strategy we choose.
