Astonishing flora

Miles of woodland, meadows bathed in warm sunlight, the humming clear waters of a river flowing straight from the cloud-reaching peaks of the Red Mountains are just a few of the views you will see in the reserve. In addition to the works of mother nature, you will also find traces of human existence here, so do not be surprised if you discover an abandoned mine or a completely deserted and forgotten town.

Rich wildlife

If you are quiet and discreet, you will certainly not miss any of the various species of animals found in this region. You can expect to track down a Rocky Mountain Elk, Pronghorn and Mountain Lions here. However, be ready to meet more challenging animals, such as the mighty Black Bear, the Mountain Goat, the Mule Deer, the Bighorn Sheep or even the Plaine Bison. If you are interested in a less ambitious hunt, you can always indulge in a relaxed one following the trace of wild turkeys, which are swarming in these forests.
